Coulter Watt
- painter, muralist, and documentary filmmaker - was born in Louisville,
Kentucky, and attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City.
World recognized
as a documentary filmmaker (his films have introduced us to everything
from the work of unrecognized artists to pressing problems in
the rainforests), but Mr. Watt's first love has always been painting.
He has created murals (the Muppet Family for Jim Henson in New
York City); realistic historical paintings (airplanes for the
Smithsonian Institution); and wildly imaginative explorations
into reality in his own oils and drawings (he has exhibited at
the 57th St. Gallery in New York.) www.CoulterWatt.com

L. B.B. Ward,
author and songwriter, here with her dog, Nunzio, was born and
raised in Philadelphia. She and her husband, Palmer, live along
the Delaware River in Bucks County, PA and, in summer, on the
Delaware Bay in Cape May County, NJ.
Her
closeness to the rhythms of nature and her view of what she sees
as the big problems facing humanity (the children in particular)
led her to create the Professor Angelicus series of adventure
novels. She feels that the only true hope for coming generations
is a deeper understanding of the interdependence of all living
things.
